EPIC is pleased to announce that Fair Ways are launching a Give As You Earn (GAYE) or a “Payroll Giving” facility.
This facility will allow all staff to make donations to their chosen charities directly from their pre-tax income by deductions from their monthly pay. Payroll Giving is fully HMRC approved and a tax efficient method of donation.
Fair Ways staff may donate through the GIVEALL Payroll agency and use this to donate to as many charities as they wish. Further details on GIVEALL are attached to this communication. Staff will need to register with GIVEALL by following the attached ‘how to register’ guide. This is a relatively simple process that should only need to be completed once.
We would like to encourage all staff to take advantage of this scheme and support our annual staff charity of the year. This year we are supporting Abby’s Heroes. Even a modest monthly contribution from the majority of staff will quickly build up to a substantial annual donation.
To support Abby’s Heroes, we recommend that staff make Fair Ways Foundation their chosen charity on GIVEALL. At the end of the year, all staff donations to Fair Ways Foundation will be transferred to Abby’s Heroes in one lump sum.
Next year there will be a new charity and all staff donations to Fair Ways Foundation will similarly be donated, meaning that staff will not have to set up a new charity on GIVEALL every year. GIVEALL is fully flexible and staff may make changes or withdraw from the scheme at any time.
Payments to GIVEALL may be changed or cancelled at any time. Before registration, all staff should be satisfied that they can afford the monthly pre-tax donation. Please also note that it is each staff members responsibility to withdraw from the scheme or change payments if their personal circumstances change.
